I agree, this is inhumane, makes me feel sad. I don’t see any point in this government, other than keep people miserable.

I know that the president enjoys a ridiculous amount of immunity for his criminal acts thanks to the supreme kangaroo court, but does the same apply to other members of the administration? Could Holman, Rubio, Bondi, etc., be held personally liable for their complicity in this crime?

Sal Teodoro's avatar

No, the immunity only applies to him, no one else.

His crimes constitute INTERNATIONAL offenses … where his US immunity doesn’t count for squat.

So his hatred is carried out by people that have no scruples or morales-and that’s our tough luck???? My understanding is no one voted for this hell on earth. I think that is a false claim-anybody voted for this. This was not put forward as an option. Then what about those insane confirmation hearings. People say they would not have agreed if they knew these people. But Trump was sure known. People deny knowing what he’s saying or doing! It’s absurd. I consider him a demon.

I didn’t vote for any Republican in the White House and sure didn’t vote for DJT! The people who did rolled the FAFO dice but left ALL of us with the FO part. The more inhumane this administration can be the happier they are. Just watch the giddy footage of the tours of Alligator Alcatraz. They are selling merch for that horrific place! They don’t care about what happened to Abrego or what is happening to all of the detainees that are being kept in less than humane conditions now. Every ounce of blood spilled will be on this administration’s hands!

The depravity and cruelty of felonpotus and this regime is unfathomable. This was the land of freedom once. Now they are shipping US asylum seekers to torture prisons. Asylum seekers!! Plus building gulags on US soil to "detain" oeople before they, too, get shipped off to torture prisons. I vent my anger and anguish in posts and comments but what is actually, really, truly, going to stop this horror? What?

This is a concentration camp not a prison. Trump has now with his like-minded frenemy had a concentration camp built on US soil, not even soil, an actual swamp.

This is no different than Hitler’s Germany.

How did this happen? There were many warnings no one should be surprised. Remember January 6? Remember the Supreme Court rulings that didn’t hold Trump accountable? Remember their ruling on the 14th Amendment article 3 when Colorado tried to keep Trump off the ballot?

Trump is corrupt and the majority SCOTUS Judges that he personally picked are corrupt.

And to all of you “Make America Great Again” followers, Trump stole that slogan from Hitler himself who made the slogan “Make Germany Great Again” when building his power. This is no coincidence.

Hitler demonized the Jews they were the other, the less than, the demons. For Trump, the scapegoats are the immigrants. For years he created a false narratives about immigrants, They are the bogie man but don’t worry Trump will save you. He’ll save you from the people who tend to the crops you eat, the workers that sew your clothing, mow your lawns, wash the dishes and clean the restrooms.

California has the largest population of immigrants in the country. If these people are such a scary threat why are so many of us standing up for them? Risking rubber bullets and false arrests?

Because they are our neighbors, our friends, our kids go to school with them. We know them to be kind humble, hard working people. They like your ancestors, have come to America to build a better life for their families. They are pursuing the American dream while Trump and his minions have created a nightmare.

We must stand steady against the nightmare because the day will come when our children or grandchildren will ask “what did you do when America was attacked by its president?”

While I grieve for this man, his wife, his family I have to ask:

WHAT about all the thousands who are not Abrego Garcia? With their name in a headline? The topic of talk shows & interviews? With people talking about them & keeping their memory alive? What about the Disappeared?

What gulag have they descended into?

Who is looking for them?

The Trump administration is nothing short of barbaric. How many others are hidden across the world, murdered, or otherwise tossed away? I hope those who are complicit are tried in court. They will be known as the new Nuremberg trials.

Nothing seems to make 21st century Republicans happier than spreading lies to unleash the dogs of war and having people tortured.

They're so happy with their new concentration camp here at home, they're selling t-shirts.

The Romans throwing Christians to lions have nothing on the Republicans.
