I have far more peace and safety when I go inside prison for my volunteer work. The level of respect and kindness is off the charts. The guys can't believe it, but it's true. I tell them this is the oasis and the refuge.

What really bothers me is his level of hate and vindictiveness. It is off the charts. The other thing that bothers me is this. I set up a bogus truth social login to monitor trump. What I see mainly from hard core MAGA is "I totally voted for this"; "thank god for trump, he will save us" and other assorted hate fueled nastiness. I realized last night that there will not be a chance in hell to find common ground with these people. They are that incensed with rage. I also do not believe that the republican and the democrat politicians will ever be able to find common ground either. The republicans spew garbage and self-righteous indignation, think dems are democracy's undoing.
Someone posted a meme about a 'Antifa debit card' that they pulled from X. It had a load of views and shares but was utterly and 100% bullshit. In fact, it was created originally on Facebook and was intended as satire and irony but morphed somehow in to truth and was shared and shared until fiction became fact.
Everything everywhere is incredibly unbelievable.

We are in this alone. I am not hopeful that the dem politicians are up for this fight. Most of them anyway.
