The incident reportedly took place in mid-November, just days after Fuentes publicly taunted abortion rights activists in the wake of Donald Trump’s 2024 reelection victory.

“Your body, my choice. Forever,” Fuentes had posted, a statement widely condemned as both callous and threatening. Shortly thereafter, Rose decided to pay him a visit to seek answers, and at least some semblance of accountability.

When Rose approached Fuentes’s home on November 13, the video appears to show him opening the door, spraying her with an unidentified liquid substance, and then yanking her phone from her hand as she fell to the ground. The footage ends abruptly as Fuentes is seen stomping on the device.

Rose was not seriously injured, according to sources close to the family, but was understandably shaken. Her husband’s recording, which captures the entire encounter from a short distance, has been viewed by the authorities as key evidence in bringing charges against Fuentes.

Fuentes was booked on November 27 — nearly two weeks after the incident — with the entire booking process taking less than an hour. He’s now slated to appear in court on December 29. The arrest comes on the heels of Fuentes’s personal information being posted online, an apparent reaction to his inflammatory online rhetoric.

For years, Fuentes has tried to paint himself as a political renegade, relishing in the attention his offensive commentary garnered. But if these allegations are true, his behavior may have finally crossed a line that can’t be explained away by “just talk.”
