Early Christmas Eve morning Trump posted on Truth social the following post, attacking Stephen Colbert.
MAGA erupted in glee on social media, cheering the rhetoric and praising Trump for stating that Colbert was a “Dead man walking”.
So, an hour later I decided to mimic Trump and see how MAGA would react. I made the following Tweet, using the same exact words but replacing Colbert with “Trump” and CBS with “America”.
Things went just how I expected. Within hours my name was the #16 trend on Twitter and some of X’s largest MAGA accounts began to call for my arrest, tagging the FBI, my local police and the Secret Service.
