Trump’s own appointee blocks the press ban
U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly, whom Trump appointed, ordered the White House to restore access for CNN, MS NOW and Politico. His temporary restraining order lasts 14 days while the outlets challenge the ban, and he found they were likely to succeed on their due-process argument.
