As a European this whole situation is deeply disturbing. I simply can not get around the fact that my parents ( both !) my grandparents and my uncles fought alongside the US to keep our world safe from a dictatorship thank god they are not around to see horrific atrocity of a president re shape all that we all stood for … Freedom

I have a US daughter in law and granddaughter and a son with dual citizenship they are distraught with worry and would be the first to call it what it is. The damage, the sheer scale of regression and the deepening bond between the US government and Russia, while deepening the rift between Europe and US is certainly making it look like a stain that will not be easy to eradicate.
