Yes, but at some point the amount they are receiving will be overwhelmed by the losses in purchasing power due to inflation. The government, on the other hand, may pay down, or even off, the debt in more and more worthless US dollars.
The enormously wealthy have ample purchasing power through various assets around the world -- real estate, mineral rights, gold, silver, aircraft, yachts, etc., etc. Some of them own huge ranches and farms. Smart ones may also have various international currencies.
Heart BREAKING - the idea that we cannot be here for one another and support the most vulnerable is not going to be sustainable - we will be here for one another to support one another. Sad day indeed!

The republicans, Heritage Foundation, Project 2025, Federalist Society, conservative supreme court, stripping social support networks, gutting regulations are all the republican agenda ever since the New Deal. It is not going to change. This great experiment, at 250 years, is in the declining phase. May other democracies study our failings and hopefully avoid the pitfalls.
