Thank goodness the judges are beginning to push back. The scenes outside court houses, ripping families apart while they're attending their immigration hearings is diabolical .

Krassenstein's avatar

The judiciary is the only thing holding democracy together right now.

They, and he, will say he’s a trump hater.

Krassenstein's avatar

Because they can't critically think.

Agree. MAGA is a lost cause. I don’t care what those POS say or think.

Mike Da Man's avatar

They don’t care, they will turn on this judge. All they care about is that their lord and savior super Cheeto gets his way on everything. They are so stupid that they don’t care if it even effects them

Trump is deranged and is truly out of control. He is getting more dangerous and more nutty each and everyday. He needs a straight jacket and put in a padded cell. Something truly even more terrifying and dangerous not to mention violent and evil is going to happen with all these nuts in Washington.

Marsha Sipple's avatar

But if he’s deported anyway what are they going to do about it? tRump has immunity.

Krassenstein's avatar

That right there is the problem.

Marsha Sipple's avatar

Ultimately, the Supreme Court could put a stop to all of this by taking away his immunity but they won’t. They are all spineless sycophants.

Milret2's avatar

Maybe the Supremes will grow spines and, I don’t know, actually use and defend the Constitution. The “President” is not mentally or emotionally able to obey the Constitution.

Apparently they are scared of him, too, otherwise they would have done it by now. I think they are the toppings on the taco. Probably not a good analogy but it’s the best I can do right now

eleanor sanchez's avatar

But no one else does , whomever does what dump says they can not use “ I was following orders”

Twisted_Penguin's avatar

Doesn't matter because he'll do it anyway. Just like the last 2 times the judges said NO and he sent the plane off. And what about Garcia that the judges said was too be returned immediately??? Everyone just forgot.

I'm completely disgusted with the weak judges and the Democrats too scared to do anything. And don't even get me started on how Harris ghosted us 😡

It’s not her problem any more. She did her best but was rejected. She owes you nothing & why you assume that she does is beyond me.

Patricia Lestz's avatar

There are many democrats fighting back if yours is not call their office and tell them that is what you expect. Otherwise you will find someone to tun against them!

They will keep howling about the "activist" judges. Until the leopard starts eating their personal faces, they will jump through the most unbelievable hoops, ignore, lie to themselves, and keep the cognitive dissonance going strong. MAGA is a cult, and the overwhelming majority of cult members don't - can't - begin to break with the cult leader(s) until they themselves are hurt and betrayed. The people on the periphery, the one-time Trump voters and the ones who had doubts will fall away, but the hardcore "ride-or-due" Trump supporters won't begin to break with him until they're suffering themselves. The fastest way it looks as though that will be accomplished across the board is by means of tariffs. People willing or even - ugh! - eager to go along with racist, bigoted and illegal policies as long as they benefit economically as promised, or at least come out fairly even. Real, immediate economic pain for *them*, the ones who are supposed to profit from the persecutions? That they won't tolerate.

That's the way to bleed Trump of his remaining popular support. That's how you wake up the apathetic to his lawlessness. Grit your teeth and bear the pain, because some now will spare the country a hell of a lot more down the road.

Good! Due process first! if they want to deport people

bobbie cottrill's avatar

About time some one put the brakes on him. Thank you for your words

Alan Kerr's avatar

Quite. I await the MAGA reaction with interest……

Teach84's avatar

No, they will still bad mouth the judge and his ruling. They are racists, through and through, and nothing will make them happy other than ridding our country of any person who isn’t white-skinned.

John Powell's avatar

Ridiculous. Illegal gang members who are not us citizens can be deported by law have no right to due process, regardless of any Biden amnesty ploy

Lori LeClaire's avatar

The Constitution guarantees due process to everyone on U.S.soul, John Powell. That’s how you learn whether anyone is or is not an illegal gang member.

John Powell's avatar

Not so. Deportation orders do not give non us citizens any right to due process beyond the deportation order

Dave I's avatar

Where specifically are you getting that? I ask because numerous sources seem to specifically disagree with you. Here is one:

https://constitutioncenter.org/the-constitution/articles/amendment-xiv/clauses/701

John Powell's avatar

Read your own sources. It explains. Deportation is civil not criminal

Dave I's avatar

I did. And I proved it by listing a couple, both of which seem to wholly disagree with you. Hence why I am requesting what reputable sources support your assertion. Right now you’re giving us nothing other than your opinion and an increase in volume. That’s not much.

John Powell's avatar

From your link. Quote “However, it’s important to know that actions by immigration authorities are considered civil cases, not criminal ones – and that means that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers do not have to give you any Miranda reminders about your rights.”

Patricia Lestz's avatar

That is what due process is for. To determine if they are gang members. Do you really think that a gay make up artist is a gang member and everyone who has a tattoo is?

John Powell's avatar

I don’t give a damn. Once a deportation order issued it’s over. Done. Defending the indefensible is why the democrats have zero credibility. 80/20

Patricia Lestz's avatar

Well obviously neither does trump give a damn when it comes to the Constitution or Court orders. He prefers to set free people who have stolen from taxpayers not innocent people who were arrested or deported by mistake. Great free Country we are living in unless you are of color.

Dave I's avatar

Due process extends to non-citizens. This is one site describing that scenario specifically, there are others worth checking out.

Bevann's avatar

I would think that it is due process proceedings that would determine if the person is “illegal”.
