90 days? That's about long enough to work out you'll need some stock or essential parts, specify them send the oder for quotes, choose a supplier, order the parts or goods, for them to make them for you and pack and ship them, and they arrive on the East Coast port and.......

..........Trump changes his mind again!

Not going to happen. Hardly anyone will want to place orders with China, and no one in China will want to make stuff for export to America, except through middlemen in other countries that guarantee the payments and carry the risk, but also add to the costs and complexity.

The markets will now know that American international trade with China is dead, stuffed and mounted in a glass case. Like a Dodo!

China has already pivoted to selling their stuff to all sorts of other countries who want it, they don’t need the United States for anything. But the United States NEEDS China, since that’s where most of the component parts they use for the manufacturing that they actually still do in the states comes from, And the 90 day pause isn’t gonna make China change its mind at all!
